G.H. Mumm's Admiral Cup Reserve is a prestigious tribute to the historic connection between the legendary Champagne house and the world of elite yachting, specifically the celebrated Admiral's Cup regatta. Reflecting Mumm's avant-garde spirit and dedication to adventure, this Champagne is crafted primarily around the structure and power of Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims, beautifully balanced by the elegance of Chardonnay and the fruitiness of Pinot Meunier. The grapes are sourced from the region's signature chalk-dominant soils, which impart a distinct mineral tension. Following traditional Méthode Champenoise rules, the wine undergoes extensive cellar aging on its lees, developing a sophisticated profile characterized by bright citrus, crisp stone fruits, toasted brioche, and a refined, persistent effervescence reminiscent of ocean spray.
