G.H. Mumm's Blanc de Blancs, historically celebrated as 'Mumm de Cramant,' is a historic jewel of the Champagne region. First created in 1882, this cuvée was originally reserved exclusively for the friends and favored clients of the House, delivered by hand with a visiting card whose corner was folded down—a tradition honored today by the unique folded corner of its label. Crafted entirely from Chardonnay harvested from the historic Grand Cru vineyards of Cramant in the Côte des Blancs, this Champagne is defined by its chalky soils. Traditionally bottled at a lower pressure, it offers a remarkably creamy, delicate effervescence. The wine undergoes extensive cellar aging to balance its striking mineral precision with rich notes of white flowers, fresh citrus, and brioche.

Established in Reims in 1827 by the German winemaking Mumm family, Maison G.H. Mumm has long stood as an archetype of Pinot Noir-driven Champagne excellence. The estate oversees nearly 218 hectares of premier vineyards, anchored in historic Grand Cru terroirs across the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs, including prime holdings in Verzenay, Mailly, Bouzy, and Ambonnay. These sites benefit from porous Campanian chalk subsoils, optimal solar aspects, and a cool semi-continental climate, yielding grapes with remarkable structure, energy, and tension. Operating under strict Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne (VDC) and Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) certifications, the house eliminated chemical herbicides across estate parcels. Winemaking emphasizes precise parcel-by-parcel vinification in stainless steel, partial blocking of malolactic fermentation to retain vibrant acidity, and extensive aging in 25 kilometers of subterranean chalk cellars. Landmark expressions include the universally recognized Cordon Rouge, the prestigious terroir-focused RSRV collection, and the pinnacle Cuvée R. Lalou.
