G.H. Mumm Le Rosé is a vibrant testament to the house's historic mastery of Pinot Noir, dating back to its founding in 1827. Historically celebrated in the 19th century as 'Royal Pearly Pink' and adored by European royalty, this cuvée is crafted using the traditional assemblage method. The blend is anchored by a dominant share of Pinot Noir sourced from the prestigious Montagne de Reims, which provides structure and strength. This is beautifully balanced by the elegance of Chardonnay and the round, fruit-forward character of Pinot Meunier. Crucially, the signature salmon-pink hue and intense red-fruit aromas are achieved by incorporating still red Pinot Noir wine from renowned grand cru villages like Bouzy. Aged on its lees for upwards of two years, the wine marries the fresh, high-energy style of Mumm with a delicate complexity, presented in a bottle that proudly carries the avant-garde indented red sash—a nod to the French Legion of Honour.

Champagne G.H. Mumm blev grundlagt i Reims i 1827 af Mumm-brødrene og deres partnere og hører til blandt de mest legendariske og fremtrædende huse i Champagne. Husets ikoniske status blev for alvor slået fast i 1876, da Georges Hermann Mumm prydede flaskerne med det berømte røde silkebånd – inspireret af Æreslegionens Grand Cordon – som et symbol på husets urokkelige motto: »Kun det bedste«. Med solide rødder i omfattende Grand Cru-besiddelser, særligt på Montagne de Reims, bygger Mumms vinstil på Pinot Noir-druens struktur, friskhed og kraftfulde karakter. Huset er verdenskendt for sin livlige signaturcuvée, Cordon Rouge Brut, samt sofistikerede prestigetapninger som Cuvée R. Lalou og den historiske, mineralske Mumm de Cramant Blanc de Blancs.
