G.H. Mumm's Millesime is a prestigious expression of a single exceptional harvest, showcasing the house's historic mastery of Pinot Noir. Founded in 1827, the house of G.H. Mumm has long been associated with royal courts and grand celebrations. This vintage cuvee is crafted predominantly from Pinot Noir sourced from the historic Grand Cru terroirs of the Montagne de Reims, which provides structure and power, beautifully balanced by elegant Chardonnay from the Cote des Blancs. Following traditional Champagne methods, the wine undergoes extended cellar aging on its lees for several years, far exceeding the appellation's minimum requirements. This patient maturation allows the wine to develop a rich autolytic character of toasted brioche, honeyed stone fruits, and refined minerality, while maintaining the vibrant freshness and precision characteristic of the house's demanding standards.
