✨ wine.spec_sheet

The historic Grand Cru village of Verzenay, nestled in the Montagne de Reims, represents the beating heart of G.H. Mumm's Pinot Noir heritage. The house's connection to this terroir dates back to 1840, symbolized by the iconic Moulin de Verzenay—a historic windmill built in 1818 and acquired by Mumm in 1939. This Blanc de Noirs is crafted exclusively from 100% Pinot Noir grown on the north-facing, chalk-dominated slopes of Verzenay. The unique exposure allows the grapes to mature slowly, preserving vital acidity while developing intense structural power. Vinified using the traditional Champagne method and subjected to prolonged lees aging, this cuvée offers a profound expression of its terroir, characterized by rich red berry fruit, flinty minerality, toasted brioche, and a robust, vinous complexity.
