✨ Technical Specifications

Hailing from Tavel, the legendary Cru of the southern Rhône Valley famed as the 'King of Rosés,' the Saint-Ferréol cuvée by Gabriel Meffre is a gastronomic rosé of exceptional structure and character. Named in honor of local heritage, this wine is crafted from vineyards steeped in history, where popes and kings once championed the local nectars. The terroir of Tavel is a complex mosaic of sandy soils, rounded pebbles, and white limestone, which impart both power and a distinct mineral backbone to the wine. Unlike light, modern rosés, Saint-Ferréol is produced using a traditional maceration process that co-ferments free-run and press juice. This results in its signature deep ruby-pink hue, structured body, and complex aromas of ripe red berries, stone fruits, and subtle spice, bridging the gap between white and red wines.
