Named in honor of the iconic 'galets roulés'—the smooth, rounded river stones deposited by ancient alpine glaciers across the Rhône Valley—this cuvée is a vibrant celebration of classic southern Rhône terroir. These unique stones play a vital role in the vineyard, absorbing the intense Mediterranean heat during the day and gently radiating it back to the vines at night, promoting even ripening and concentrated flavors. Crafted primarily from Grenache and Syrah, the wine undergoes traditional fermentation to preserve its expressive fruit character. It captures the essence of the region with its rich aromas of ripe red berries, wild lavender, and the savory, herbal notes of the local garrigue, all supported by supple tannins and a warm, inviting finish.

Founded in 1936 by Gabriel Meffre and his wife Juliette in the historic village of Gigondas, Gabriel Meffre has grown into one of the Southern Rhône Valley's benchmark wineries and négociant-éleveurs.
