Domaine Geantet-Pansiot is celebrated for a style that beautifully bridges the gap between classic Burgundian terroir and modern, fruit-forward intensity. Under the guidance of Vincent Geantet and his son Fabien, the estate has become famous for its meticulous vineyard management and a signature winemaking approach. They practice a rigorous double-sorting of the grapes and employ a cold pre-fermentation maceration for about ten days. This technique extracts deep color, intense aromatics, and rich, velvety fruit flavors from the Pinot Noir grapes while avoiding harsh, rustic tannins. The resulting red wines, primarily sourced from the limestone-rich soils of Gevrey-Chambertin and surrounding Côte de Nuits appellations, are renowned for their luscious texture, vibrant black cherry and spice notes, and seamless integration of oak. This approach offers a seductive, accessible interpretation of Burgundy's historic terroir without sacrificing its underlying complexity.

Domaine Geantet-Pansiot blev grundlagt i 1954 af Edmond Geantet og Bernadette Pansiot og er en anerkendt, familiedrevet vingård med base i den berømte Côte de Nuits-landsby Gevrey-Chambertin i Bourgogne. Ejendommen voksede markant under ledelse af Edmonds søn Vincent, som trådte ind i foretagendet i 1982, og drives i dag i tæt samspil med Vincents søn Fabien, hvilket viderefører familiens stolte håndværkstradition. Vingården er berømt for sin kompromisløse markpleje og minutiøse sortering under høsten. Ved hjælp af en længere koldmaceration inden gæringen og en velafbalanceret fadlagring skabes vine med en enestående dybde, fløjlsblød tekstur og ren aromatisk præcision. Domaine Geantet-Pansiot nyder særlig stor anerkendelse for sine Pinot Noir-aftapninger fra gamle vinstokke fordelt over prestigefyldte terroirs – lige fra Bourgogne og Marsannay til Premier Cru og Grand Cru-marker som Charmes-Chambertin.
