Crafted as a loving tribute to the estate's founder, Edmond Geantet, who established the domaine in 1954 alongside Bernadette Pansiot, the Gevrey-Chambertin 'Cuvée Edmond' represents the soulful depth of the Côte de Nuits. Sourced from meticulously farmed, exceptionally old Pinot Noir vines, this cuvée captures the essence of the village's legendary clay-limestone soils. Geantet-Pansiot's signature winemaking philosophy shines through here: a strict sorting process followed by a cold pre-fermentation maceration that coaxes out an incredibly deep color, intense dark fruit aromatics, and a velvety texture without sacrificing the classic, structured power and earthy complexity of Gevrey-Chambertin. It is a beautiful marriage of modern fruit purity and traditional Burgundian terroir.

Established in 1954 by Edmond Geantet and Bernadette Pansiot, Domaine Geantet-Pansiot is a highly regarded family-run estate located in the historic village of Gevrey-Chambertin within Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, France. Today, the domaine is managed by Vincent Geantet and his son Fabien, who meticulously farm approximately 13 hectares of prime vineyards across Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny, and Bourgogne appellations. The estate is celebrated for its rigorous fruit selection and a signature cold pre-fermentation maceration technique, which yields deeply colored, intensely aromatic, and fruit-forward wines. Their portfolio is anchored by exceptional Pinot Noir expressions, including the vibrant Bourgogne Rouge 'Bons Batons', old-vine cuvées, and structured Grand Crus that beautifully balance modern richness with classic Burgundian terroir.
