Georges Duboeuf, legendary as the 'King of Beaujolais,' was instrumental in introducing the vibrant wines of this region to the world. 'Domaine de la Seigneur' represents a refined, estate-bottled expression of Beaujolais-Villages, crafted entirely from the Gamay grape. Grown on the classic pink granite and schist soils characteristic of the region's finest slopes, the vines yield fruit of remarkable purity. The winemaking utilizes traditional semi-carbonic maceration, a technique that coaxes out expressive aromas of wild strawberries, red currants, and soft floral violet notes while keeping the tannins exceptionally smooth and approachable. This wine beautifully marries the joyful, fruit-forward heritage of Beaujolais with the elegant structure and mineral undertones of a single-domain terroir.
