Domaine de Lafayette is a distinguished estate-bottled Brouilly, one of the ten esteemed Crus of Beaujolais, championed by the legendary négociant Georges Duboeuf. Crafted entirely from the Gamay Noir grape, this wine represents the vibrant, fruit-forward, yet structurally elegant soul of the region. The estate's vineyards thrive on the classic pink granite and volcanic soils characteristic of the Brouilly appellation, which impart a distinct mineral undertone to the wine. Historically, the region's winemaking heritage dates back to Roman times, but it was Duboeuf's tireless promotion that elevated these Crus to global acclaim. Traditional semi-carbonic maceration is employed to preserve the explosive aromas of fresh red berries, wild strawberries, and subtle floral notes of violet, balanced by soft tannins and a refreshing acidity.

Les Vins Georges Duboeuf har hjemsted i Romanèche-Thorins i det franske Beaujolais og blev grundlagt i 1964 af Georges Duboeuf, der ofte hyldes som 'Kongen af Beaujolais'.
