Crafted under the legendary house of Georges Duboeuf, the 'King of Beaujolais,' the Domaine du Moulin-a-Vent represents the pinnacle of the region's Cru system. The wine takes its name from the historic, 15th-century stone windmill that stands sentinel over the rolling vineyards. Unlike the lighter, simpler styles of Beaujolais, Moulin-a-Vent is renowned for its remarkable power, depth, and structure—a direct result of the unique pink granite soils rich in manganese. This mineral-rich terroir naturally restricts grape yields, forcing the Gamay vines to produce small, highly concentrated berries.
