Domaine du Riaz, curated by the legendary 'King of Beaujolais' Georges Duboeuf, represents the expressive terroir of the Côte de Brouilly appellation. Crafted entirely from the Gamay grape, this wine benefits from the unique volcanic soils of Mont Brouilly, locally known as 'pierre bleue' or blue diorite. This ancient metamorphic rock infuses the wine with a distinct mineral backbone and elegant structure. Utilizing traditional semi-carbonic maceration, the winemaking process coaxes out vibrant floral aromas of iris and peony alongside juicy blue and red berry flavors, showcasing the joyful yet sophisticated heritage of the region's historic estates.

Les Vins Georges Duboeuf har hjemsted i Romanèche-Thorins i det franske Beaujolais og blev grundlagt i 1964 af Georges Duboeuf, der ofte hyldes som 'Kongen af Beaujolais'. Négociant-huset revolutionerede regionens internationale profil ved at slå et slag for domæneaftapninger, opbygge tætte partnerskaber med lokale vinbønder og gøre det årlige Beaujolais Nouveau-fænomen verdensberømt.
