Crafted by the legendary Georges Duboeuf, often hailed as the 'King of Beaujolais,' the 'Pr lude de la Perrire' is a vibrant expression of the Gamay grape. The name 'La Perrire' evokes the stony, granite-rich soils characteristic of the region's finest slopes, which impart a distinct mineral undertone to the wine. Historically, Beaujolais wines have been celebrated since Roman times, but it was Duboeuf's visionary passion in the late 20th century that brought these joyful, fruit-forward reds to the global stage. Les Vins Georges Duboeuf har hjemsted i Romanèche-Thorins i det franske Beaujolais og blev grundlagt i 1964 af Georges Duboeuf, der ofte hyldes som 'Kongen af Beaujolais'.
