While many associate the region with the fleeting joy of Beaujolais Nouveau, the Prestige selection represents a more curated, serious expression. Sourced from choice vineyards featuring the classic pink granite and clay-limestone soils of the region, this wine undergoes a careful semi-carbonic maceration to preserve its expressive floral aromas and bright red berry flavors, backed by a refined structure and silky tannins that elevate it beyond everyday table wine.

Established in 1964 by Georges Duboeuf—the visionary merchant famously dubbed the 'King of Beaujolais'—Les Vins Georges Duboeuf transformed the global reputation of Gamay. Headquartered in Romanèche-Thorins, the family négociant house collaborates with hundreds of winegrowers spanning southern Burgundy and Beaujolais. The portfolio captures the diverse terroirs across the ten regional Crus, where Gamay thrives on distinctive pink granite, manganese-rich schist, and decomposed clay slopes under a semi-continental climate with Mediterranean influences. Viticultural philosophy emphasizes sustainable management and lutte raisonnée across partner domains, alongside expanding certified organic initiatives. Utilizing traditional semi-carbonic and whole-cluster fermentations in temperature-controlled tanks, the vinification strategy preserves vivacious red fruit purity, florality, and supple tannin structure.
