✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the wind-swept hills of the Languedoc, Gerard Bertrand's Brut sparkling white wine pays homage to the region's ancient sparkling heritage, which famously began in 1531 at the nearby Abbey of Saint-Hilaire. Crafted primarily from Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc, often accented by the local Mauzac grape, this wine benefits from a unique terroir where Mediterranean warmth meets cooling Atlantic breezes. Produced using the traditional method, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and extended lees aging, resulting in a refined effervescence, vibrant citrus and white flower aromas, and a subtle, toasted brioche complexity that reflects the rich history of southern French winemaking.
