✨ Technical Specifications
Crafted by the visionary winemaker Gérard Bertrand, a former rugby champion who became the preeminent ambassador for the South of France, Extra Blanc is a vibrant celebration of the Pays d'Oc terroir. This wine, typically focused on Sauvignon Blanc, thrives under the generous Mediterranean sun, balanced by cooling coastal breezes that preserve its vital acidity. The winemaking emphasizes fresh fruit preservation, utilizing cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks to capture the grape's intense aromatic profile. Bertrand's philosophy connects the ancient winemaking history of the Languedoc—dating back to Roman times—with a sleek, modern aesthetic, resulting in a wine that is intensely aromatic, crisp, and wonderfully expressive of its maritime-influenced terroir.
