✨ Technical Specifications
Gérard Bertrand's Gris Blanc is a celebration of the unique 'gris' style of rosé from the sun-drenched Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. Crafted primarily from Grenache Gris and Grenache Noir, this wine pays homage to the ancient winemaking traditions of the Mediterranean coast, where pale, refreshing wines have been enjoyed for centuries. The grapes are sourced from select vineyards nestled between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea, benefitting from a warm climate tempered by cooling sea breezes. To achieve its signature crystalline, ultra-pale pink hue and vibrant profile, Bertrand employs immediate, gentle direct pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation, followed by brief aging on fine lees. This technique coaxes out delicate aromas of white stone fruit, red berries, and a distinct mineral salinity that reflects the maritime terroir.
