Crafted by the visionary former rugby player turned biodynamic pioneer Gérard Bertrand, this cuvée captures the wild, untamed beauty of the Mediterranean landscape. The wine is typically a classic southern French blend dominated by Syrah and Grenache, grown on mosaic soils of limestone and clay. The vines are subjected to hot, sunny days tempered by cool sea breezes and the dry Tramontane wind, which naturally keeps the grapes healthy. Traditional maceration and careful temperature control preserve the intense primary fruit flavors, resulting in a wine that beautifully reflects the local 'garrigue'—the wild scrubland of thyme, rosemary, and lavender that surrounds the vineyards.
