Glen Garioch's 'Chapter One' 15-Year-Old is the inaugural release of the distillery's celebrated Renaissance Collection, a four-part series designed to showcase the maturation journey of their robust Highland spirit. Nestled in the fertile 'Granary of Aberdeenshire,' Glen Garioch relies on the rich local barley and the pristine waters of the Silent Spring. This expression, matured in a combination of outstanding ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, highlights the distillery's signature style: a marriage of rich Highland heather honey, warm toasted malt, creamy butterscotch, and a whisper of green apple. It represents a return to the traditional, full-bodied character that has defined this historic distillery since its founding in the late 18th century.

Established in 1797 by John and Alexander Manson, Glen Garioch is one of Scotland's oldest operating distilleries, located in the historic market town of Oldmeldrum in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Now owned by Beam Suntory, the distillery is celebrated for its heritage and its recent return to traditional floor maltings and direct-fired heating for its copper pot stills. Glen Garioch is renowned for producing a robust, non-chill-filtered Highland single malt whisky, characterized by a rich, honeyed, and malt-forward profile with hints of heather, sweet spices, and, in its historic expressions, a delicate touch of peat smoke.
