Steeped in the rich heritage of Dufftown, Speyside, Glenfiddich was founded in 1886 by William Grant, who built the distillery stone by stone alongside his nine children. This rare Pure Malt Special Scotch Whisky represents a landmark era of Scotch production, reflecting the early 20th-century bottling style when the term 'Pure Malt' was proudly used to denote what is known today as Single Malt. Crafted using the pristine, mineral-soft waters of the Robbie Dhu spring and distilled in uniquely small copper pot stills, this legendary spirit was matured in seasoned oak casks. It offers a liquid archive of Speyside history, showcasing a classic profile of heather honey, subtle peat smoke, dried orchard fruits, and warm baking spices that have integrated beautifully over generations.
