After maturing for over two decades in traditional oak casks, this exceptional expression underwent a unique finishing period in casks that previously held rich Cuban rum. This innovative process infuses the classic Speyside character—defined by the pure Robbie Dhu spring water and elegant orchard fruit notes—with a vibrant, exotic warmth. The result is a luxurious whisky boasting layers of sweet toffee, spicy ginger, and ripe fig. The bottling holds a legendary status among collectors, particularly due to its historical name, which was later rebranded to Gran Reserva for international markets.

Glenfiddich Distillery blev grundlagt i 1886 af William Grant og opført ved håndkraft med hjælp fra hans familie.
