Deep in the heart of Speyside, in the 'Valley of the Deer' (from the Gaelic 'Gleann Fhiodhaich'), lies the historic Glenfiddich distillery, founded by William Grant in 1886. This exceptional 18-year-old single malt represents the pinnacle of traditional Scotch whisky craftsmanship. It is meticulously matured in a combination of fine Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and traditional American oak bourbon casks. Following this extensive aging process, the whiskies are married in small, individually numbered batches in oak tuns for at least three months. This unique marrying process allows the rich flavors of baked apple, cinnamon, robust oak, and dried fruits to integrate seamlessly, creating an incredibly smooth, complex, and distinguished Speyside character.

Glenfiddich Distillery blev grundlagt i 1886 af William Grant og opført ved håndkraft med hjælp fra hans familie.
