The Glenfiddich Orchard Experiment is the fifth release in the distillery's pioneering Experimental Series, showcasing a unique cross-border collaboration of craft. Born in the heart of Speyside, Scotland, where William Grant first established the distillery in 1887, this single malt is finished in casks that previously held Somerset Pomona—a rich, artisanal blend of apple juice and cider brandy from the Temperley family's orchards in Somerset, England. This innovative finishing process marries the classic, sweet, and fruity Speyside spirit with vibrant notes of crisp green apples, caramelized pears, and warm oak spice, celebrating both Scottish distilling heritage and traditional English orchard folklore.

Founded in 1886 by William Grant and constructed by hand with the help of his family, Glenfiddich Distillery is situated in the heart of Dufftown in Scotland's renowned Speyside region. Still independently owned by William Grant & Sons, the distillery made history in 1963 by pioneering the international single malt Scotch whisky category beyond traditional blended scotch. Glenfiddich crafts its spirits using the pristine waters of the nearby Robbie Dhu springs, distilling through distinctive copper pot stills and maintaining its own on-site cooperage to oversee maturation in premium American and European oak casks.
