✨ Technical Specifications
Hailing from the valley of the deer—'Glenfiddich' in Gaelic—this exceptional Single Malt from the Private Collection represents the pinnacle of Speyside distilling heritage. Established in 1886 by William Grant in Dufftown, Scotland, Glenfiddich has remained family-owned, preserving traditional methods such as using the pristine, mineral-soft waters of the Robbie Dhu spring. The Private Collection showcases rare, hand-selected casks chosen by the Malt Master. Typically matured in a combination of traditional American oak and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, this spirit weaves together the classic Speyside profile of fresh pear and orchard fruits with deep, layered notes of rich oak, warm baking spices, dried fruits, and subtle dark chocolate, reflecting over a century of distilling artistry.
🍾 About the Producer
Founded in 1886 by William Grant and constructed by hand with the help of his family, Glenfiddich Distillery is situated in the heart of Dufftown in Scotland's renowned Speyside region. Still independently owned by William Grant & Sons, the distillery made history in 1963 by pioneering the international single malt Scotch whisky category beyond traditional blended scotch. Glenfiddich crafts its spirits using the pristine waters of the nearby Robbie Dhu springs, distilling through distinctive copper pot stills and maintaining its own on-site cooperage to oversee maturation in premium American and European oak casks. Renowned worldwide for its iconic triangular bottle, the distillery produces an acclaimed spectrum of single malts characterized by signature orchard-fruit aromas, crisp green pear, delicate floral notes, and remarkable depth in its rare vintage releases.
