Nestled in the wild, remote valley of the River Livet, The Glenlivet has long been the benchmark of Speyside single malts. The Special Jubilee Reserve 25 Year Old represents the zenith of this historic distillery's art, where a quarter-century of patient maturation in the cool Scottish climate transforms the bright, pear-inflected new make spirit into a masterpiece of complexity. Drawing mineral-rich water from Josie's Well and distilled in the famous lantern-shaped copper pot stills designed by founder George Smith, the spirit is aged in hand-selected oak casks. Over twenty-five years, the wood breathes in the Speyside air, imparting rich layers of dark chocolate, dried figs, warm baking spices, and toasted oak, while preserving the distillery's signature floral elegance. Special Jubilee bottlings celebrate the ultimate heritage of Scotch whisky, showcasing the master blender's finest matured stocks.

The Glenlivet blev grundlagt i 1824 af George Smith i den afsidesliggende Livet Valley og var det første lovlige destilleri i sognet efter vedtagelsen af The Excise Act i 1823.
