Hailing from the wind-swept Highlands of Scotland, Glenmorangie's 'A Tale of Ice Cream' is a whimsical single malt Scotch whisky crafted by the legendary Dr. Bill Lumsden. Inspired by the decadent, nostalgic sensory experience of an ice cream parlor, this expression showcases Glenmorangie's signature delicate spirit—distilled in Scotland's tallest copper pot stills, which are as tall as an adult giraffe. To capture the lush, creamy, and sweet dessert-like profile, the spirit was matured in specially selected high-vanillin virgin oak casks alongside classic bourbon casks. This unique maturation coaxes out rich notes of peach Melba, vanilla pod, coconut, and honeycomb, celebrating the distillery's historic heritage of wood experimentation dating back to its founding in 1843.
