✨ wine.spec_sheet

Crafted in the far north of Scotland at the historic Tain distillery, Glenmorangie's 'A Tale of Winter' is a celebration of cozy, snowy days spent by the fire. Master of Whisky Creation Dr. Bill Lumsden envisioned this expression to capture the warmth of a favorite winter sweater. The spirit is first distilled in Glenmorangie's signature copper stills—the tallest in Scotland, which ensure only the lightest, purest vapors ascend to create an exceptionally elegant spirit. It is then aged in bourbon casks before undergoing a finishing period in sweet Marsala wine casks from Sicily. This unique maturation process infuses the classic Highland single malt with rich, festive notes of candied fruit, cocoa, ginger, and warm spices, blending Scottish distilling tradition with Mediterranean warmth.
