Hailing from the legendary Glenmorangie Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, renowned for possessing the tallest copper pot stills in Scotland—which produce an exceptionally pure and elegant spirit—this 'Extremely Rare' 18-Year-Old expression is a masterpiece of wood management and artistic collaboration. For this limited edition, master creator Dr. Bill Lumsden partnered with Japanese botanical artist Azuma Makoto, whose floral sculpture 'Dancing Flowers' visually represents the whisky's vibrant, blooming bouquet. The spirit spends its first 15 years maturing in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, after which approximately 30% is transferred into Spanish Oloroso sherry casks for a final three years of finishing. Once reunited, the result is a deeply complex single malt that marries rich, honeyed sweetness with delicate floral notes, dried fruits, and a gentle nuttiness, embodying the innovative spirit of Highland whisky-making.
