Hailing from the legendary Glenmorangie distillery in Tain, Ross-shire, this rare 10-year-old single malt, bottled in 1990, holds a special place in both whisky and sporting folklore. It was specially released to commemorate Scotland's historic 1990 Rugby Union Grand Slam victory over England at Murrayfield. Glenmorangie is renowned for utilizing Scotland's tallest copper pot stills—standing at the height of an adult giraffe—which ensure only the lightest, purest vapors ascend to condense. This elegant spirit was matured for a decade in select American white oak ex-bourbon casks, resulting in the distillery's signature delicate, floral, and citrus-forward profile, enriched by notes of vanilla, honey, and gentle spice.
