Nestled in the ancient Royal Burgh of Tain in the Scottish Highlands, Glenmorangie has been crafting exceptional single malt whisky since 1843. The distillery is renowned for its pioneering spirit and its remarkably tall copper stills—the height of an adult giraffe—which produce an elegant, pure spirit. 'Lasanta,' meaning 'warmth and passion' in Gaelic, is a testament to the art of wood finishing. This 12-year-old expression begins its journey in American white oak ex-bourbon casks for ten years before undergoing a two-year secondary maturation in hand-selected Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. This double-cask aging infuses the whisky with deep, sun-drenched sweetness, rich spices, and a velvety texture that captures the rugged beauty and warm hospitality of the Highlands.
