Crafted in the far north of Scotland at the historic distillery in Tain, established in 1843 by William Matheson, Glenmorangie's Highland Single Malt Quarter Century 25 Year Old is a testament to patience and slow maturation. This exceptional single malt is distilled in Scotland's tallest copper pot stills—which rise to the height of an adult giraffe—ensuring only the lightest, purest vapors ascend to condense into spirit. The Quarter Century is a masterclass in wood management, having spent twenty-five years maturing in a meticulous selection of casks, including American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, Spanish Oloroso sherry butts, and French Burgundy casks. This complex maturation process imparts a remarkably rich, full-bodied character, weaving together notes of dried fruits, blackberries, warming spices, and a gentle thread of coconut and forest floor, reflecting the legendary craftsmanship of the 'Men of Tain'.
