Hailing from the legendary Glenmorangie Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, renowned for possessing the tallest copper stills in Scotland, this exceptional 22-year-old single malt represents the pinnacle of cask experimentation. Distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2020, this rare expression was finished in a hand-selected red wine cask from the prestigious Pommard appellation in Burgundy. The delicate, citrus-and-peach-forward spirit of Glenmorangie, shaped by the mineral-rich waters of the Tarlogie Springs, underwent a beautiful transformation in the French oak. The Pommard cask infuses the mature Highland whisky with rich notes of dark cherries, forest floor, and a structured, velvety tannin profile, bridging the worlds of Scottish distilling craftsmanship and French viticultural heritage.
