Nestled on the shores of the Dornoch Firth in the Scottish Highlands, the Glenmorangie Distillery has been crafting exceptional single malt whisky since 1843. Renowned for possessing the tallest copper pot stills in Scotland—reaching the height of an adult giraffe—Glenmorangie produces an exceptionally delicate, elegant, and floral spirit. The Sherry Wood Finish represents a pioneering chapter in the distillery's history of wood management. This expression begins its journey in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, absorbing sweet vanilla and coconut notes, before undergoing a secondary maturation in hand-selected Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. This dual-cask aging process marries the Highlands' signature bright, citrusy distillate with the deep, festive warmth of Andalusian fortified wine, yielding a complex dram rich with notes of dark chocolate, dried fruits, warm ginger, and toasted nuts.
