Glenmorangie Signet is a crowning achievement in Highland single malt whisky, representing a fusion of traditional distilling and innovative brewing techniques. At its heart lies a unique mash bill incorporating high-roasted chocolate malted barley, a technique more commonly associated with craft stouts than Scotch whisky. Distilled in the Highlands of Scotland using Glenmorangie's legendary copper pot stills—the tallest in Scotland, which ensure only the purest vapors ascend—this expression is a marriage of the distillery's oldest whiskies, some dating back over thirty years, aged in bespoke virgin toasted oak casks. The name and intricate emblem are inspired by the Hilton of Cadboll Stone, a historic Pictish monument carved in the 8th century near the distillery, symbolizing the deep-rooted heritage and mystical folklore of the Easter Ross peninsula.
