Crafted in the far north of Scotland, Glenmorangie's 'The Cadboll Estate' is a remarkable single-estate Highland single malt that celebrates the unique terroir of the distillery's own backyard. The barley for this expression is grown exclusively on the fertile fields of the Cadboll Estate, located on the Easter Ross peninsula overlooking the Moray Firth. This coastal agricultural land has a rich heritage, historically tied to the ancient Picts and the famous 8th-century Cadboll Stone. Distilled in Glenmorangie's legendary copper stills—the tallest in Scotland, which ensure only the lightest, purest vapors ascend—this spirit is aged for 15 years in hand-selected American white oak ex-bourbon casks. The result is a wonderfully creamy, deep, and complex whisky that beautifully marries notes of honeyed malt, orange blossom, and soft spices, reflecting the serene coastal landscape of its origin.
