✨ wine.spec_sheet
Hailing from the historic distillery of Glenmorangie in Tain, established in 1843 by William Matheson, 'The Original' is the flagship expression of this pioneering Highland single malt. This elegant spirit is distilled in Scotland's tallest copper pot stills, which stand at the height of an adult giraffe, allowing only the purest and lightest vapors to ascend and condense. It is matured for ten years in first- and second-fill American white oak ex-bourbon casks, including bespoke air-dried 'designer casks' from the Ozark Mountains. This meticulous process imparts a delicate, golden hue and a complex bouquet of mandarin, lemon, peach, and vanilla, underpinned by a gentle floral character that reflects the pristine waters of the Tarlogie Springs, the distillery's own ancient water source.
