Hailing from the far north of Scotland in Tain, Glenmorangie is celebrated for its towering copper stills—the tallest in Scotland—which produce an exceptionally elegant and delicate spirit. The Quinta Ruban 14 Year Old is a masterclass in wood finishing, a technique pioneered by the distillery. This single malt spends its first ten years maturing in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, developing a soft, vanilla-rich foundation. It is then transferred to hand-selected Ruby Port pipes from the historic quintas of Portugal's Douro Valley for an additional four years of finishing. This dual maturation imparts a deep, ruby-gold hue and weaves luscious notes of dark chocolate, mint, and candied orange into the whisky's smooth, velvety profile.
