The Quinta Ruban 14 Year Old is a masterclass in wood finishing, a technique pioneered by the distillery. This single malt spends its first ten years maturing in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, developing a soft, vanilla-rich foundation. It is then transferred to hand-selected Ruby Port pipes from the historic quintas of Portugal's Douro Valley for an additional four years of finishing. This dual maturation imparts a deep, ruby-gold hue and weaves luscious notes of dark chocolate, mint, and candied orange into the whisky's smooth, velvety profile.
