As a premium single malt Scotch whisky, this bottling is fully matured and ready to be enjoyed immediately upon release. It does not improve with bottle age, but if stored upright in a cool, dark place, it will remain in peak condition indefinitely. Once opened, it is best consumed within 1 to 3 years to fully appreciate its complex aromatic profile.

✨ wine.spec_sheet

Glenmorangie Tusail is the sixth release in the distillery's prestigious Private Edition series, celebrating the rich heritage of traditional Scottish distilling. The name 'Tusail' is Gaelic for 'original' or 'origin,' a direct nod to the legendary Maris Otter barley used in its creation. First bred in 1965, Maris Otter is a winter barley variety renowned for its deep, rustic, and malty flavor profile. Although it fell out of commercial favor due to low yields, Glenmorangie resurrected this heritage grain, floor-malting it by hand to preserve its unique character. Distilled in the Highlands using Glenmorangie's famously tall copper pot stills—which stand at the height of an adult giraffe to ensure only the purest vapors ascend—and matured in select ex-bourbon casks, this single malt offers a rich, biscuit-like profile with notes of peach, ginger, and toasted malt.
