As a bottled single malt Scotch whisky, this does not mature further in the glass. It is ready to be enjoyed immediately upon release and will maintain its exceptional character for decades if kept upright, cool, and away from direct sunlight.

✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the legendary Glenmorangie Distillery in Tain, within the rugged Scottish Highlands, the Artisan Cask is a masterpiece of pioneering wood management. Glenmorangie, famed for utilizing Scotland's tallest copper pot stills—which are as tall as an adult giraffe—produces an exceptionally light and elegant spirit. For this specific release, the distillery sourced slow-growth, fine-grained American white oak from the northern slopes of the Ozark Mountains in Missouri. These 'designer casks' were air-dried for two years, toasted, and lightly charred to extract maximum sweetness, vanilla, and coconut notes. The resulting single malt, bottled at 46% ABV without chill-filtration, represents a landmark experiment in how bespoke wood influences Highland whisky, weaving together local folklore of the 'Men of Tain' with modern wood science.
