Crafted by the innovative Johannes Hasselbach of the historic Gunderloch estate, the 'Saveur' Weiss Trocken represents a contemporary, vibrant departure from the winery's traditional, singular focus on Riesling. Grown in the expressive soils of Rheinhessen, this dry white blend typically marries the intensely aromatic, herbaceous qualities of Sauvignon Blanc with the elegant structure and rounder texture of Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc). Fermented entirely in stainless steel to preserve its crisp, lively fruit profile, the wine reflects the modern, dynamic spirit of the region. It offers an approachable yet sophisticated drinking experience, maintaining the precise minerality and balance that has defined Gunderloch for generations.

Founded in 1890 by banker Carl Gunderloch, the Gunderloch estate is located in Nackenheim in the Rheinhessen region of Germany. Today, the winery is managed by Johannes Hasselbach, representing the sixth generation of the family to craft exceptional, terroir-driven wines. The estate is deeply committed to ecological viticulture and is renowned for its holdings in the legendary Nackenheimer Rothenberg vineyard, situated along the clay-slate "Roter Hang" (Red Slope). Gunderloch is celebrated globally for its precise, mineral-rich Rieslings, ranging from the dry Nierstein Riesling trocken to the off-dry Jean Baptiste Kabinett and luscious, age-worthy Auslese and TBA expressions.Address: Carl-Gunderloch-Straße 1, 55299 Nackenheim, Rheinhessen, Germany.
