✨ Technical Specifications
Hendrick's Flora Adora is a limited-release distilled gin produced at the Hendrick's Gin Palace in Girvan, Scotland. Crafted by Master Distiller Lesley Gracie, this spirit is categorized under 'Other' as it is a distilled gin rather than a wine. It is produced using a combination of two different stills—a Carter-Head and a Bennett still—and is infused with a selection of sweet, floral botanicals that complement the brand's signature cucumber and rose essences. The production process focuses on vapor-infusion and direct distillation to achieve its distinct aromatic profile.
🍾 About the Producer
Introduced in 1999 by independent family distillers William Grant & Sons, Hendrick's ignited the modern craft gin renaissance from the coastal town of Girvan in South Ayrshire, Scotland. Master Distiller Lesley Gracie conceived the spirit using an unconventional dual-still distillation architecture, marrying heavy, robust distillates from an antique 1860 Bennett pot still with delicate, ethereal botanical vapors captured by a rare 1948 Carter-Head still. The two fractions are carefully harmonized before receiving Gracie's signature post-distillation cold infusions of Bulgarian Damask rose petals and crisp cucumber essence. In 2018, operations moved into the purpose-built Hendrick's Gin Palace, which includes specialized hothouses fostering Mediterranean and tropical botanicals for experimental micro-distillations. Beyond the benchmark original expression, Gracie showcases limited releases through her 'Cabinet of Curiosities' laboratory, featuring boundary-pushing expressions like Orbium, Neptunia, Flora Adora, and Grand Cabaret, defined by floral complexity, pristine maritime purity, and bright, herbaceous aromatics.
