Crafted to celebrate the historic 250th anniversary of the maison in 2015, the Hennessy 250 Collector Blend is a monumental tribute to centuries of blending mastery. Curated by seventh-generation Master Blender Yann Fillioux, this exceptional Cognac is a blend of eaux-de-vie aged between 15 and 35 years. In a poetic nod to the milestone, the blend was completed by aging for several years in 250 specially commissioned, hand-crafted Limousin oak barrels of 250 liters each, resting in the historic Founder's Cellar on the banks of the Charente River. This unique maturation imparts a delicate, spicy complexity with notes of bitter orange, saffron, nutmeg, and dried flowers, underpinned by a remarkably elegant, persistent finish.

Founded in 1765 by Irish officer Richard Hennessy in the historic town of Cognac, France, Hennessy has grown to become the world's most celebrated Cognac house. Headquartered on the banks of the Charente River along Rue de la Richonne, the house is renowned for its centuries-old blending heritage, famously guided by eight generations of master blenders from the Fillioux family. Utilizing traditional double-distillation in copper Charentais alembic stills, Hennessy ages its precious eaux-de-vie in French oak casks sourced from the Limousin forest to develop unparalleled complexity and depth. The estate's legendary portfolio is defined by iconic expressions such as the VSOP Privilège, the pioneering XO Cognac—a category first created by Maurice Hennessy in 1870—and the exquisite, ultra-premium Hennessy Paradis.
