This exclusive release represents a striking collaboration between the historic house of Hennessy and the acclaimed British designer Tom Dixon. Released as part of the Hennessy X.O Exclusive Collection, the "Gold Rush" edition features a contemporary, tessellated carafe finished in a brilliant copper-gold sheen, mimicking the raw geological beauty of crystals and gold ore. Inside this avant-garde bottle is the classic Hennessy X.O blend, first created in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy for his inner circle of friends. This legendary Cognac is a masterful assemblage of over one hundred eaux-de-vie aged up to 30 years in French Limousin oak casks. The grapes, predominantly Ugni Blanc, are harvested from the premier crus of the Cognac region, including Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois. The resulting spirit is celebrated for its deep amber hue, robust structure, and complex layers of candied fruit, wild cocoa, and warm baking spices.
