Hennessy Paradis Imperial is an extraordinary jewel of blending, inspired by a historic commission in 1818 from the Russian Imperial Court for Tsar Alexander I. Recreated in modern times by Master Blender Yann Fillioux, this rare Cognac represents the absolute pinnacle of selection and precision. Out of any given harvest of 10,000 eaux-de-vie, only about 10 are deemed elegant and precise enough to be integrated into this blend. These exceptional spirits are matured in old French oak casks to prevent dominant woody notes, allowing the delicate, floral, and ethereal qualities of the grapes to shine. The result is a spirit of unparalleled finesse, offering notes of jasmine, orange blossom, and light smoke, representing the ultimate expression of the Fillioux family's blending legacy.

Founded in 1765 by Irish officer Richard Hennessy along the banks of the Charente River, Maison Hennessy has defined the architecture and prestige of modern Cognac. Sourcing primarily Ugni Blanc across the region's elite crus—notably Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois—the house relies on chalk-dense, limestone-rich soils and a temperate maritime microclimate to achieve base wines of searing natural acidity. Double-distilled on the lees in traditional Charentais copper pot stills, the unaged eaux-de-vie mature inside fine-grained French Tronçais and Limousin oak casks, orchestrated through humid and dry aging cellars. The blending process has been shepherded across eight generations of the Fillioux dynasty, overseen today by Renaud Fillioux de Gironde and the venerated Tasting Committee.
