✨ Tekniske specifikationer
In 1817, the future King George IV of Great Britain, then Prince Regent, placed a historic order with Hennessy for a 'Very Superior Old Pale' cognac. This royal request birthed the VSOP category, a designation that would forever redefine the spirits world. To commemorate two centuries of this landmark creation, Hennessy crafted the Privilege 200th Anniversary VSOP. Sourced from the traditional crus of the Cognac region and crafted primarily from Ugni Blanc grapes, the eaux-de-vie are double-distilled in copper Charentais alembic stills. They are then aged in seasoned French Limousin oak casks, allowing the spirit to absorb subtle tannins and toasted wood aromas. The final blend harmonizes up to 60 different eaux-de-vie, offering a complex profile of vanilla, warm spices, and light tobacco that pays homage to its royal heritage.
