The Hennessy Privilege Collection 5 VSOP is a celebration of the legendary VSOP blend, a style originally commissioned in 1817 by the future King George IV of Great Britain, who requested a 'Very Superior Old Pale' cognac. Crafted from a selection of approximately 60 different eaux-de-vie sourced primarily from the finest crus of the Cognac region—including Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois—this expression is distilled from Ugni Blanc grapes. It is aged in seasoned French Limousin oak casks, which impart structured tannins, delicate vanilla, and warm baking spice notes. The 'Collection 5' represents a limited-edition presentation of this historic blend, showcasing the master blender's art of maintaining absolute consistency and harmony across centuries of heritage.
