The Hennessy Privilège VSOP Guangyu Zhang Limited Edition represents a masterful bridge between French liquid heritage and contemporary Chinese artistry. Commissioned to celebrate the Lunar New Year, this special bottling features the vibrant, multi-layered artwork of Beijing artist Guangyu Zhang, who honors the cycle of nature and the harmony of the elements. Inside the artistic bottle lies the classic Hennessy VSOP Privilège blend, a historic recipe first inspired by an 1817 order from the future King George IV of Great Britain for a 'Very Superior Old Pale' cognac. Crafted from Ugni Blanc grapes grown in the premier crus of the Cognac region, the constituent eaux-de-vie are double-distilled in traditional copper Charentais stills and matured in seasoned French oak casks, allowing the spirit to develop its signature balance of strength and smoothness, marked by notes of fresh fruit, vanilla, mild tobacco, and toasted wood.
