Hennessy Privilege VSOP holds a legendary place in spirits history, tracing its origins back to 1817 when the future King George IV of Great Britain requested a 'Very Superior Old Pale' cognac from the house of Hennessy. This historic blend is crafted from a selection of up to 60 different eaux-de-vie, primarily sourced from the finest crus of the Cognac region, including Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois. The grapes undergo traditional double distillation in copper Charentais alembic stills before the spirit is aged in French Limousin oak casks. This meticulous process imparts a harmonious balance of strength and smoothness, characterized by aromas of fresh fruit, vanilla, spices, and toasted oak, representing over two centuries of master blending expertise passed down through the Fillioux family.
